Master in Environmental Management of Mountain Areas

This two-year master focuses on sustainable landscape development as well as ecosystem and land-use management in mountain regions.

Its main teaching and research areas are ecosystem restoration, sustainability management and energy production. The location of both partner universities in the heart of the Alps is an ideal environment for enabling students to gain hands-on experience in field work and practical research methods.

The programme is offered as a joint programme with Leopold-Franzens-Universität Innsbruck. The teaching language is English.

Course structure

During the first year, students will study at unibz, whereas most of the lectures during the second year will be held at Universität Innsbruck. Courses are taught by professors of both universities.

Admission

In order to be elegible for admission to this programme you must posess proven language skills at the B2 level in English, as well as a bachelor degree in a related area.

In order to apply, you have to upload the relevant documents, including a motivational letter before April 30 (first session) or July 24 (second session).

The ranking list will be published around May 20 (first session) or August 13 (second session).
